OK, who names their cat after half a weblog? It'd be like naming your pet "Metaf" or "Kot" or "Slas" or "Fa"...
Naw, the cat was named after the sound effect; I didn't know about BoingBoing back in 2001.
And I suppose it's just an amusing further coincidence that your hamster is named Whuffie, yes?WE'RE ON TO YOU, RALSTON.By the way, I liked this comic page very much.
